A Brief Report on Special Education in The Province of Sindh

PREFACE

 

It gives me pleasure to present a report on Special Education in Sindh. The report includes the activities undertaken during the last 4 years in the province of Sindh. It would surely be of much help to the interested and will give a detailed picture of Special Education to the readers. 

It would not have been possible for this Directorate to render such valuable services in the field of Special Education, had it not been cooperated and coordinated by the Department of Education, Government of Sindh, Ministry of Education, Islamabad, Ministry of Social Welfare, Islamabad, UNESCO/UNDP authorities, Directors of Social Welfare, Karachi, Directorate of Schools, Hyderabad and Karachi and the working teachers of the province. The Education of the handicapped is a national cause and I am sure they will continue extending their possible cooperation in this regard.
